Celebrating the Spirit of Crofting

Commissioned by the Scottish Crofting Federation and funded by Moray LEADER, MacRobert Trust, Big Lottery, and NEWBIE.   The two day event celebrated the spirit and resilience of crofting, sharing good practice from across the Highlands and Islands in the hope to encourage new take up of crofts throughout Morayshire.

Hill Farming Training for Conservation Professionals

Commissioned by the Foundation for Common Land in partnership with Scottish Crofting Federation.   On croft training for conservation professionals looking at the issues faced by crofters and also consideration of common grazings.

Gaining Ground

Commissioned by the Scottish Crofting Federation and funded by Highland and Moray LEADER.  Gaining Ground takes a look at the concept of "green care" as a diversification opportunity for crofters and smallholders.

Community Development and Engagement

Commissioned by The Garve and District Development Company and funded by Lochluichart Community Trust.  Provision of a community engagement and development service leading to the production of a Community Development Plan.

Refurbishment of Drumbeg Village Hall

Commissioned by the Drumbeg Village Hall Committee and funded by LEADER.   Project and financial management supporting the total renovation of Drumbeg Village Hall.

Crofters and Smallholders Skills Boost 2016 - 2019

Commissioned by the Scottish Crofting Federation and funded by KTIF, HIE, SNH and Woodland Trust.  Skills Boost provides primary agricultural training for new, aspiring and established crofters and smallholders.

Crofters and Smallholder Skills for the 21st Centuary 2013 - 2016

Commissioned by the Scottish Crofting Federation and funded by Scottish Government and HIE.   Provision of agriculture trainging to crofters and small holders throughout the Highlands and Islands.

Added Value

Commissioned by the Scottish Crofting Federation and funded by The Prince's Countryside Fund.  The project supports crofters and smallholders in remote rural areas through training to add value to their services and products. 

Workin' Wood - Lochbroom Woodfuels Ltd

Commissioned by Ullapool Community Trust.  Financial and project management of the final phase of Workin' Wood project.  The project provided training, work experience and employment opportunities for young people.

Scottish Exotic Animal Rescue

Successful funding application for Charity vehicle.  The Charity received £18,000 from Support Adoption for Pets
